Big spider found

It was rainy today.

2 butterflies emerged from their chryslids, 1 male Monarch, 1 male Black Swallowtail.

Later in the day I found a really large spider by the creek, I don't know what kind it was. We got pictures, hopefully they will turn out ok and the spider can be identified by them. I never seen one in the wild that is so big.

Large spider

The mystery caterpillars are now about 1 cm, 3 mm (1.3 cm) long. One of the Spicebush Swallowtails caterpillars has gotten to the stage where it is green now.
