Finally, either last night or early this morning the Giant Swallowtail caterpillars or whatever they are, hatched from their eggs! I took pictures, but it will be a few days before I get them back.
I added pictures to some of the older entries the past couple of days - Aug. 19, 17, 16, 15, 14. More still on the way.
I now have caterpillars of 4 different species of butterflies in my enclosure - Monarchs, Black Swallowtails, Spicebush Swallowtails and Giant Swallowtails!
As usual, Monarchs and Hackberrys were flying around the garden. I also saw a Painted Lady. I wasn't outside too much though.
